Teaching Associate of the Year Award (2026) — Monash University
I am honoured to receive the Teaching Associate of the Year Award (2026) from the Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University. This recognition reflects my contribution to teaching support across the department, with the award specifically acknowledging my work on CIV5899 Infrastructure Information Management.
CIV5899 introduces postgraduate students to digital tools and emerging technologies for modern infrastructure management—including BIM modelling with Revit and Navisworks, and critical evaluation of innovations such as laser scanning, drones, and VR/AR in construction. Through tutorials, assignment guidance, and industry engagement (including guest lectures), I supported students in building practical skills and analytical thinking for infrastructure information management.
I am grateful to the students, colleagues, and unit coordinators who made this a rewarding teaching experience—particularly those I worked with on CIV5899 over recent years.
