iRoad joins the Greater Bay Area AI Entrepreneurship Training Camp
I was delighted to represent iRoad as Project Leader in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurship Capacity (AI Application) Training Camp and the Angel Club “Golden Seed” Co-creation Plan, organised by Shenzhen Public Employment Service and Shenzhen Angel FOF.
Training camp overview
The programme focuses on artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing. After open registration and expert review, approximately 50 high-quality project teams were selected to participate.

Over the following three months, more than 40 senior mentors provided one-on-one coaching to each team. The programme included lectures, salon discussions, industry matchmaking, outdoor team-building, practical roadshows, and financing sessions—helping teams address challenges in market positioning, business models, equity structure, financing strategy, and intellectual property. The goal is to support teams in achieving milestones in first-round funding, incubation space, and industrial partnerships, bridging the “first mile” of entrepreneurship and the “last mile” of commercialisation.
Presentations and programme activities
As part of the training camp, I delivered presentations introducing iRoad and our approach to digital road asset management, including sessions on service workflows and online platform design for infrastructure applications.

Visit to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange
Our cohort also visited the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, where selected teams from the programme gathered to celebrate this stage of the entrepreneurship journey and connect with the broader innovation ecosystem in Shenzhen.

Looking ahead
This training camp has been an invaluable opportunity to refine iRoad‘s commercialisation strategy, engage with mentors and investors, and strengthen our vision for AI-powered road infrastructure management across the Greater Bay Area and beyond. I look forward to sharing more milestones as the project progresses.
