In 2022 and 2023, I delivered the unit CIV5899 Infrastructure Information Management under the coordination of Dr. Yihai Fang.

I supported students in mastering key skills and technologies for modern infrastructure management, providing technical guidance and critical feedback on assignments. My main responsibility involved helping students model and visualize a dormitory building using Revit and Navisworks, giving them hands-on experience with industry-standard tools for construction phases and integration.

Additionally, I introduced students to emerging technologies like laser scanning, drones, and VR/AR, guiding them through essays that critically evaluated these tools’ benefits and limitations in construction. This fostered their ability to assess the practical applications and challenges of such innovations.

It was rewarding to see students grow, and I enjoyed collaborating with Songbo and Jensen on assignment marking and answering questions. Though initially challenging, as it was my first time also learning the unit, I quickly self-learned the content and successfully supported the students.

While I did not continue tutoring in 2024 due to research commitments, I was honored to be invited for a guest lecture talk. Me and Mr.Tim Mumford from Beca provided a guest lecture talk with a topic of “Infrastructure condition management using AI”
